Inventory Handler
Reports to: Manager, Distribution and Warehouse
Purpose: To efficiently put away inventory that is transferred from the Clark dismantling plant.
Responsible for achievement of the following:
- Check parts received from Clark for visible damage. Ensure that proper inventory tags and stock numbers are on the parts. Report any discrepancies.
- Put away parts as quickly as possible upon receipt from Clark including scanning the part into the system.
- Optimize the rack and shelve space by appropriately placing a part into a rack or shelve location depending on the part, its size and shape.
- Ensure accuracy of the TriCoder and complete scanning process.
- Assemble and package product per order/pick ticket requirements.
- Work to ensure orderly, neat and safe workspace including keeping aisle ways clear, storing equipment properly, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
Experience
- 1 to 3 years experience working in a Distribution Center environment
- Some automotive background.
- Knowledge of scanning systems an asset.
- Certification on Order Picker Equipment preferred.

Physical Demand/Manual Dexterity
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. bend, push and pull.
Work Environment
- Clean warehouse environment. Steel toed safety boots required.
